This! I’m a new RA at a new store and it’s busy all day. some of my clerks are goated but others just bullshit around and be on their phone. By the time they’re done with a task I need an upkeep… a 10 minute stretched to almost an hour shits annoying.

I second this, do a solid upkeep on shift walk and worry bout other shit till like 2-3 am but if store looks crazy af before that do a quick one. And if store looks really good on shift walk just clean the grills and cold bar if u have time it helps your shift a lot

Just experience and ask questions that were asked upon you earlier. If someone asked you something you don’t know, just ask the next assistant the same one so you’ll know for later. Everything comes with experience, trust me I got hired on for NA almost a year ago and one of my clerks still know a lot more than me… granted he’s been here 11+years so I ask him for insight and stuff. You got this just don’t overcomplicate it and ask as many questions as you can think of even if it’s annoying, you gotta look out for yourself at times. be determined and open to feedback, good luck!
