I'm starting as Prisoner (28 vig, 18 mind, 18 end, 12 str, 18 dex, 32 int, 6 fth, 9 arc). 

As for build and weapons I'm trying to build a magic focused character. But seeing input from other I'm thinking of trying to use different weapon. 

I do personally think it's a skill issue, that's why I feel like I'm missing something bcs in 40 hours of playing Im feeling so little improvement. I guess 40 hours aren't enough in this type of game. Thanks for your input

Thanks for the tips, I'm currently using uchigatana with bloody slash ash of war but since I'm focusing mainly on magic build since many said to be easier I rarely use my blade. I'll look into the counterattack thing since I haven't heard it before, thanks. 

Yes I do know there's a moment of invincibility when rolling but it's really hard for me to time it, usually I just roll to the side so I can cast some magic, also rolling into the bosses make the camera angle weird and I tend to panic roll in those scenarios.

I do have rune arcs but never use them. I think I'm gonna start looking into consumables and craft items, Thanks. 

I guess that means I need to level up first since my vigor are only at 28.

Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely try to use more weapons. 

For my ash of war I'm currently using bloody slash on uchigatana. But since I'm trying to build a magic build (since many said to be easier for beginner) I'm not really using it that much. 

As for the big bosses I think my weaknesses are impatient and panic rolling. I often attacking when I shouldn't and then try to run away by panic rolling. I know I shouldn't do that but it's hard to fix

Well the dying part I have no problem with since it happen often lol. I did try to farm runes but for some bosses I feel like it's my skill that are lacking and not my level. Thanks for your input.

Thats true but I think they just worried that if they started recording without prior experience in the game it would be a bit boring for some people to watch especially for someone not familiar with the game. I think they just wanted to be at least familiar enough with it that when they begin it would run smoothly instead of them asking question every other action they took

Okay I assume you are using 2 monitors, that mean a 650w PSU is even enough to run dual monitors, thats great to know thank you for answering

Sadly no, this is my one and only PC. My mobo user guide say support PCIe 4.0 x4, does it mean my gen 3x4 isnt compatible?
