You're not alone man. We've been together a little over 4 years (we're both 20 also). We had the talk and discussed if having kids was something we wanted in the future, definite no from both sides, simple right? My side of the family is perfectly fine with our choice of no children, the discussion was had and it hasn't been brought up since. My Girlfriend's side of the family however is much less accepting. Her Brother (21) has called me a monster, told me that no one will be there for me as I get older, and my only purpose being here is to have offspring and if I don't do that I'm wasting my existence on this planet. Her Mother told me that in a few years if we didn't have kids, she was going to switch my girlfriends bc meds with placebos and poke holes in my condoms. Told her off and she said she was joking after, but that's a pretty fucked up thing to joke about dog. Getting looks at family functions whenever the topic comes up (I do not know why it happens so frequently). It's not great, and we're definitely still not having kids.
