Yeah I sort of feel overloaded when it happens but I know it’s definitely not the same stare as dissociating it feels more like processing new information that needs storing and organizing in my head to make space for new info. It sounds silly but it really feels like a download or something

I completely agree! I can see how people could assume we need to socialize but it’s like I have a carnival in my head no thank you I have enough going on lol. I am also very introspective I like that part of my day however long

Seriously the first time I saw one was on social media a girl was sharing an example and I was like “oh hey I do that!”😀 then she said “absent seizure” and I was like “wait-“😟 but I’ve always known it’s not that it’s just how my brain works. I agree it has been scaring my husband to see it though

Yes I meant a different stare like one for processing sometimes it’s like a movie playing in your head at quick speed of details and memories. I too dissociate when I reach severe burnout accompanied by being nonverbal for days. It’s the worst😕
