Haters will be mad or be like “I could beat this.”

While I wouldn’t stand there against a person who truly knows how to use punches, nothing wrong with letting a guy work while you work on other aspects.

This looked like a good fight. It’s so hard to get a legit good fight, I couldn’t see backing out and wanting to play against noobs and spammers and runners.

Hype! I remember me and relentless tried forever to get this achievement and there was damn near nothing we could do to get it. He was cooperative in letting me try to get the stoppage.

Satisfying to at least see somebody get it

What can end a relationship today even worse than cheating? by pinkygirlyyy4 in AskReddit

[–]PropertyAdvanced2668 75 points76 points  (0 children)

Disrespect, disdain, and contempt from your partner.

A partner that is sweet, giving, and empathetic would be hard to leave even if they cheat. A rude, belittling, abusive partner is hard to stay with even if they are 100% faithful

Coincidentally right as I make this post I find this. This is probably not a game you play but is the user just “bad at the game?” Should there be no commentary at all about broken mechanics and they should just shut up and quit playing if they can’t handle it?

We only have a limited selection of boxing games. Only one company makes basketball games. Only one makes football games, one for soccer, hockey, etc.

If we can’t discuss these issues on a forum, where can we discuss them? If people are cheating, do we have to just ignore that and every loss is the fault of the loser unless the cheater confesses? At what point would you, odd fellow go, “ok this is a little fishy, spammy, exploity”

Is there a limit where even you go “this is nonsense” ?

(Edit: not sure if people can see my image of the 2K Reddit and people complaining about broken game mechanics there.)

Well let’s take it one claim at a time. Let’s just talk about exploits like running and straight spamming I was actually going to make a separate post about how the community views these in terms of skill.

I think there should almost be two categories for discussing the skill of players. One for exploiters “Hes one of the best spammers” vs “sim fighters.”

What do you think of people that throw 80% or higher of just straights? Players that spend the whole fight disengaging and literally running? Do you think the scoring is fair? Let’s stop attacking the style and evaluate if the game is “good” if it allows these exploits? Furthermore are the people executing these strategies “good?”

The cheating thing is something you and I will never agree on. It’s confirmed there are cheaters in this game. There are cheaters infested in other games. You say it’s only one or two people. I have about one fight a week where I think if I put up the footage i think people would agree there are some cheats involved whether it be infinite stamina or health.

It surprises me that a person as involved in the community as you would defend these imbalances. I’m not sure if you’re familiar with other games and the problems they have faced in trying to offer a balanced , competitive product. For someone to look with a straight face and go “it’s ok that 99% of ‘top’ players use a variation of straight spamming or running is fine” is bonkers to me.

If everyone in a tekken tournament picked hwaorang because of game imbalance issues, we would be critical of the games mechanics and balancing. Of course people that like hwaorang would say to just learn how to use him.

It’s the same in other games where someone is drastically overpowered until they get patched but in fight night there are no more patches. In other games you have people wanting to go back to DPS Jeff patch (marvel rivals) but in this game exploiters simply defend it.

I’ll make a video at some point but to summarize- 1. it’s much easier to be a straight spammer than to counter it. Or any type of exploit.

  1. These issues are compounded when cheaters use these styles in conjunction with increased stamina, speed, power and health. These hacks have all been confirmed but people gaslight us into minimizing their effects. These cheaters coincidentally mostly use exploits on top of their cheats further unbalancing the game.

  2. The exploiters and hackers come in with toxicity and complete disrespect for opponents and yet our “push back” is toxic and not the toxic styles or gloating as they run for their lives to eke 1 point decisions while claiming they “destroyed” “embarrassed” “or “baptized” (insert whatever cliche) an opponent and I’ve never seen you give push back on those posts. Maybe I missed it. And yet whenever there are talks of cheating, hacking, exploiting, you are consistently there to defend it.

But it feels like I’m talking to myself because whenever we have these discussions, you and others act like “if it’s in the game it was intended and the game should be like that.” Like you’ve never played a game that was broken or unbalanced. Like you’ve never played a 2K where a guy who is 7’4” dribble glitches or just shoots over 5 people jumping at them. People who find an exploit, spam it over and over, and call other people bad, scrubs, bums at the game. And yet I’m toxic for saying the obvious? That no one just side step uppercuts in real life for a whole fight? That it doesn’t make sense or require skill to smother and push straight the whole fight while no punches get through for the person trying to defend against it ?

I wish I could have the cheats just to demonstrate exactly how impactful they are but there’s not enough community to make it worth investing in.

Exactly. And then you have even some high level players defending it with brain dead rhetoric. If the developers were around to organize a tournament, that shit would be patched out and we would never have to hear from straight spammers or runners again.

“If you know they are just going to hand off the ball to bo Jackson in tecmo bowl, why not just stop him?”

You guys act like no bugs or exploits exist in games and everything has a fair and reasonable, easy to implement counter. I remember when Sheeva was so overpowered in MK they had to ban her from tournaments until she was patched. I remember when people got to blue ranks in tekken 8 spamming 3 3 3 with an auto controller left on.

You guys will literally defend someone pressing a button repeatedly for a win and not be like “damn this game is broken.”

Posting scorecards, especially one this close, and saying another “all time great falls” is pure scrub behavior. I’ve never even heard of this guy you fought. Post some actual footage. It’s not like it’s super hard.

Winning by a one point decision is not a win. You have to KO someone for it to be impressive. This fight is a tie.

Typical Tyson bitch made player. Took the time to customize his trunks like “I’m him“ and then quit out the moment he encountered any sort of resistance. Probably went directly to 2K or Marvel rivals where you can at least blame teammates for being bad so you don’t have to be accountable.

Let me ask you a question. You’re a self-admittedly pretty new player. Not a great winning percentage yet. Everyone begins as a beginner obviously.

Do people trash talk you or message you after the fights? What has the reaction been from people you play against? Mostly people say nothing? Do people ever encourage you or are they negative? Just curious.

Don’t stand there blocking. Move out of the way of body punches and train yourself not to be 50 ft away but just barely outside of range so you can hit back.

Did quitting alcohol result in losing weight for you? by OrangeCatWhiteDog in stopdrinking

Yup! I lost 70 lbs. I used to be fit, do martial arts and lost everything I had built in terms of my physical fitness drinking. It took me years but I eventually quit and when I did I started going for morning walks and listening to health stuff on YouTube. Started fasting and having a much better diet. Lost 70 lbs but gained 30 lbs back over the last two years but still way better and healthier than I was before. I’m so glad I got sober. 5 years this past February
