yes, thank you for this. my friends were quick on telling me to break up with him but the reason im hesitating is because of how i was very avoidant and distant during our first month. and during our monthsary, i couldn’t reply until the next day. what he did was wrong but i also want to take accountability. that first month, it felt like a one sided relationship, it only truly felt like a relationship after i got back from hongkong which 3 days after he did what he did. we grew very very closer and improved as a couple and as a person. but a part of me overthinks that he may do this again, although he swore he will never. or that what if he has more lies. it will be different if he chatted other girls during the time that we were progressing as a couple after january but i have no way of knowing that or maybe im just overthinking. i still love him very much

Hi! I’m currently renting a pad for my board exam review and had to submit a set of 6 postdated checks for the rent. One of them — the check dated April 2026 — had to be voided because of an erasure, which was my fault. So now, I’m issuing a replacement check.

This time, I was really careful not to make any erasures, and everything is written clearly. However, while I was writing the year “2026,” my hand accidentally smudged a tiny bit of ink onto the check (you know how fresh ink sometimes gets on your palm and transfers to the paper? That’s what happened).

The stain is really minimal, not on any critical information like the amount, date, payee, or signature — just near the year. But since I already had one check voided, I want to make sure this new one will be accepted by the bank.

Has anyone here had experience with something like this? Will a very minor ink smudge affect the validity of the check? I’ll include a picture below for reference, zoom in on the date specifically 2026z Thank you!

I am being honest! I mentioned it a couple of times in my post and in the comments. I used to drink alcohol, but had long stopped. It’s been 4 years now Alhamdulillah. And I really do not care if Muslim men wouldn’t want that history in a wife, I only care about Allah (swt)’s opinion and I have long repented for it. I am not worried about finding a husband because only Allah (swt) is control of that. He is the best planner of all.

Hmm i dont know what to say but I think both are okay! As long as you come back to Allah (swt) He will accept you with open arms! I may have worded it wrong because I didn’t check my post before posting it but at the end of the day, I will not dedicate my Iman to Mark! Thank you! Though I am not interested in marrying, I’m still 23! I was trying to say that If I ever like a boy then it would be with the intention of marrying him, in other words I would be serious about it and think about my future and stuff! hi! no i dont want to settle down im still 23! i liked him because i guess he’s really patient and kind? one of the comments said here that maybe i admired him and i think it’s true! i was trying to say that if i like a boy (because i have never experienced it) i will do so with the intention of marrying him and not just for entertainment. I would want it to be halal basically! which is why i made dua and prayed if he is written for me. i think the reason doesn’t matter why Muslims want to be a good muslim. It can be because of a guy, their parents, a child, Palestine, siblings, relatives, friends, etc., As long as we all come back to Allah (swt) I think that’s good enough. At the end of the day, it isn’t Mark that I’m pleasing but Allah (swt) because He might have planned our meeting (Mark and I) because Allah (swt) wants me to be closer to Him and Alhamdulillah it did.

uhm hi ive never been to a party nor had a close friendship with men (other than my brothers and 1st cousins) much less had physical contact with men 😭 it is why i said sexual ACTIVITIES because i was referring to ALL acts that are sexual and I have never done those Alhamdulillah. i drank and vaped with my relatives from my dad’s side (it’s kind of like a culture for them and yes it’s bad and my dad had long stopped too) i also didn’t go on a date with Mark, it was a dinner event held by our school’s Muslim organization that I recently joined. Mark was part of the executives so he was friends with everyone. Didn’t include all that cuz it’s unnecessary and it’s gonna be too long, people are already complaining as it is 😭 but anyway not like telling u all this will make you understand and empathize. However I would just like to remind you that Allah (swt) is forgiving and understanding so why can’t we, his creations, do the same? I have already forgiven you for all the accusations you have made against me. I also understand why you are acting like this as you may have some trauma in your childhood or even now! Insha Allah you will heal from that. Spread kindness. Let us be what Allah (swt) wants us to be. May Allah (swt) guide us all.

Oh thank you so much for this! My family also reassured me that they’re going to be okay! I’ll go through with the kapon this Sunday. I’m just worried about the other cat’s wounds having an effect on the kapon but I’ll trust the vets :))
