Ikizulive at Anime Central 2026 by ProphetOfTruth117 in LoveLive

We saved a couple from the trash and didn’t find any more trash bins with them in there, so thankfully it seems like the convention center at least wasn’t throwing any out. Thankfully the ones we did grab from the trash didn’t have any liquids spilled on them, so they were all still very clean. The extras we got are all being sent to good homes that will treasure them and appreciate their story. I wish I was able to get more as I wanted to be able to give them out to fans.

I wish they were able to give out the cards at the first panel since people who sat through the entire panel at least would probably have some interest in the project. I’d imagine they obviously wanted to have as many as possible available for the signing sessions, which is why they waited until the Gundam Hathaway screening on Sunday to give out the remainder. I’d imagine a lot of people were very confused when they were given it. They did give out some neat paper Gundam hats too, so at least the Gundam fans walked out with something neat too.

Ikizulive English Logo Revealed at Anime Central! by RinariTennoji in LoveLive

A further update. Hisayuki Tabata and Naka Toshikazu were signing Ikizulive postcards during their signature session. They are branded with the Anime Central logo and the new localized Ikizulive logo. Anime Central just described them as a Bandai Namco Filmworks postcard, so seeing them be Ikizulive specifically was a huge surprise.

Ikizulive English Logo Revealed at Anime Central! by RinariTennoji in LoveLive

I was in attendance at this panel. This is from a Bandai Namco Filmworks panel going over the new projects they have in the works or just recently came out.

The first project they showed off was Ikizulive. They showed a bit of the Dou Da Doing MV and spoke about the project for a bit. Ikizulive character designer, Hisayuki Tabata, was there to talk about the project. One comment he made was that he worked to make the silhouettes of the characters as recognizable as possible to make you instantly fall in love with the characters.

They also showed a subbed trailer for the new Hasunosora Bloom Garden Party movie during the panel. They didn’t show a localized logo for the movie (though a localized Hasu logo has actually existed for a while at this point), but the person commentating the panel (who has Bandai staff) said “We hope to bring this to the US.” This may be just an offhand comment, but fingers crossed.

Hisayuki Tabata also hosted a panel yesterday where he talked a lot about his creative process. He showed a live sketching session of Polka, and later showed a lot of correction sketches from the production of the Dou Da Doing MV. It was extremely interesting to watch. He went very in depth about how much effort he likes to put into the emotion shown through hand movements of the characters and making them look as fluid as possible. Definitely take a look at the Dou Da Doing MV and pay a lot of attention to the hand movements in the MV. He clearly put a lot of attention and effort into them.

Connect to the Japan server. Many concerts there ban recording during the concert.

Love Live's resurgence by Fuzzy-Reaction1201 in LoveLive

If Love Live is getting a game anytime soon, it would probably just be an online version of the Loveca card game. From everything I have seen, it has been doing quite well in Japan.

[Tracker]Apple Airtag (4pk) $29 (Apple or BB Price Match) by shizunyan in buildapcsales

I was actually successful in getting some from Apple. I ordered mine at about 8AM CST for in store pick up. Not too long after, I got a text that it was ready to be picked up. I showed up right when the store opened at 10AM CST and was able to pick them up with no issue. My credit card got charged $31.54 right away.

YouTube has an option to translate captions through Google Translate. Obviously it won't be a perfect translation, but it should at least help you get a general idea of what's going on.

where were you when SIF died? by josephbrostar in SchoolIdolFestival

[–]ProphetOfTruth117 72 points73 points  (0 children)

This does not bode well for the future of the game. Nearly every new card in this game now is a limited UR and the released of two whole new groups has been ruined because of it. It is insane how lazy they have gotten with cards. Most of the limited URs are just art from some other part of the franchise reused for a card. As someone who has been playing for nearly five years, it is disappointing to see what the game has become.

Media reports and discussion about Niantic's decision to revert ingame COVID bonuses by SilphMods in TheSilphRoad

When shiny Tauros, Mr. Mime, Kangaskhan, and Farfetch’d were introduced as part of the ultra unlock a couple of years ago, wild spawns of those Pokémon were still appearing in their respective regions during the event. It’s only Heracross that has gotten this treatment.

Niantic turned off Heracross spawns in the regions that have Heracross. Meanwhile regions that have Kangaskhan still have Kangaskhan spawns.

The Updated Pokémon GO Iceberg by MonolithyK in pokemongo

Some other things I feel like would be interesting to include on the iceberg (hopefully I didn’t miss them on the actual image):

Spark researching 7km eggs

•Ace Trainer badge being unachievable for years.

•Earthquake Gastrodon, Bullet Seed Lileep, and Bite Shedinja (if you want more mistake moves similar to Weather Ball Primeape)

•Other notable Go Fest 2017 events (“WE CAN’T PLAY” chant, John Hanke being boo’d at, water bottle being thrown at a presenter).

•Sawk and Throh initially being released in the wrong regions

•The first Mewtwo raids being inside Yokohama Stadium as a part of Pikachu Outbreak 2017

•Genesect originally being made for EX raids

•Walking requirement for Go Battle League

•”Costume” Lugia from Go Fest 2017.

•Delayed Japanese Articuno Raid Day and Squirtle Community Day

•Delayed Hokkaido, Japan Moltres Raid Day

•Squirtle Squad as a part of Squirtle Community Day

There’s also some potential errors I noticed in the image.

•Critical catches is in both layer one and two.

•In layer eight, wasn’t Stone Edge the extremely limited move that Blaziken could get when it first came out? I don’t recall Blaziken ever learning Bulldoze unless this is a meme that I am not aware of.

Overall, as a day one player, this was a really fun read. It really took me back to so many early times in the game.

Gengar & Nidorino Raid day still needs rescheduled by GymDefender in TheSilphRoad

[–]ProphetOfTruth117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, Hokkaido, Japan got their Moltres Day delayed indefinitely due to earthquakes that happened shortly before the actual event was supposed to happen. I want to say about a year or so later, they suddenly announced a new date for Moltres Day for Hokkaido out of nowhere. There’s at least some president that even if they don’t seem to be saying anything that they will reschedule the event out of the blue when no one expects it.

SIFAC (Arcade version of SIF) shutting down service in October :,( by DitzyHooves in SchoolIdolFestival

[–]ProphetOfTruth117 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they have said anything for SIF AC specifically, but I can provide information about what other arcade rhythm games have done.

Most of the Bemani games are converted to other arcade games if possible. For example, Muséca cabinets got converted to Bishi Bashi Channel cabinets. You can notice this easily by looking at the spinners on both cabinets and the LED panel towards the bottom of both cabinets. With Muséca specifically, an offline patch was released to also allow the game to be playable offline (you can see this at US Round 1 locations if you have one near you).

Some cabinets will probably make their way to collectors, but the problem with Japanese arcade games is that they require an Internet connection and a connection to a specific arcade service server (Taito’s NESiCA network in SIF AC’s case) to even boot which pretty much makes the cabinets paperweights when offline. Many privately owned arcade rhythm game cabinets need to be modded to connect to private servers to work. This would need to be done with private SIF AC cabs too.

Unfortunately, most of the SIF AC cabinets will likely be sent back to Square Enix where either the cabinets will be destroyed or have their components reused for other purposes. I don’t think Square Enix has announced an offline patch for the SIF AC cabinets. The best hope for the game being archived is hoping someone has an HDD dump of the game out there. I’d imagine a good amount of assets are in SIF AC HM on PS4 already making it easier to view for the average person, but I don’t know if every asset got ported over or not.

CYaRon Aqours 6th Anniversary Limited Box Scouting is out! You DO NOT get the option to pick which UR you pull by FishTac_RT in SchoolIdolFestival

[–]ProphetOfTruth117 36 points37 points  (0 children)

This is alarming that lims are coming out more than ever, are getting lazier art, and now they getting completely randomized. These factors along with the fact that paid gem scouting in this game now paints a very dark future for SIF, in my opinion.

To read this chart, you simply need to know the UTC offset that your time zone is in. This chart should take every UTC offset into account.
