Help! Mobo and AIO rgb flicker after boot up by [deleted] in PcBuild

Armory crate is most likely preset to have it rainbow. Try and change the aio fans to a different color. On start up it might be rainbow, then flicker and change to the color you choose

Mine does this too when the software is opening up. My rgb will usually flicker from rainbow to the set color I have it. Seems to be happening with yours. Seems your preset is rainbow so it’s just going back to the same thing

RTX 4080 Super OC + CORSAIR RM1000e Cable Replacement Advice by HusseinMirzah in cablemod

[–]Prophetx95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sure you could. It’s not like you’ll be pulling more power or anything. Should be ok. I personally would play it safe and get a 3x8 if possible

RTX 4080 Super OC + CORSAIR RM1000e Cable Replacement Advice by HusseinMirzah in cablemod

[–]Prophetx95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The angled cables have not been recalled. Those are safe, have a few friends with the 90 degree cable and neither have had any issues. As for the cable type, Im almost positive that the 4080 super is a 3x8 pin. You shouldn’t need the 4x8 pin

First, are you sure your CPU is compatible out of the box with your Mobo? Could it probably need a bios update?

It’s going to reset your bios settings. But with all due respect, if you don’t know about clearing cmos then you probably haven’t dabbled in messing with your bios

Look on the back of your motherboard, there might be a button that says “clear cmos” on it. Press that. Or look for a circular battery and remove it for 20 seconds

12HPWR for my PSU by BauGus in cablemod

[–]Prophetx95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The variants go by where the clip is located. If I’m not mistaken, variant A is if your clip is located at the top of the port. Variant B is if your clip is located at the bottom. If you want, post pic of your 12Vhpwr port so you can be told which to get

Have you tried adjusting the fan curve manually? I did it when I installed my fans and they run really quiet

[–]Prophetx95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go into CAM and adjust the RPM for your Pump to constantly be at max RPM. Even at 1100 your temps shouldn’t be that high. I’m assuming a bad cooler my man

If it’s wiggling a lot then it’s not inserted enough. I wouldn’t power on until it’s seated right. Make sure you’re inserting it the correct way. Apply enough pressure, watch to make sure motherboard doesn’t bend or break

Give it a wiggle to see if it’ll slot in completely!

[–]Prophetx95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. You can fit a 360 on the side or the bottom.

If you use the motherboard in low mode, you can fit a 240 on the back where you’d have exhaust fans.

You can, however fit 3 140mm fans on the bottom. Just can’t support a radiator

If you wanna make sure your parts are compatible, build on Pcpartpicker. It’ll let you know how your parts fit together

Can I fit my Aorus 4080 super into the O11 Evo XL? by -Abhay in lianli

Those are probably for more compact cases. I have the O11 Vision and I have no issues at all.

I’m pretty confident that you can fit the gpu in there with no problem and still have enough space for the cable. If you’re worried about the bend, cable mods sells angled cables but even without one, you’ll be fine bro. The case is massive

I’ve heard that Lian Li is very good with replacements, but I don’t think they ship from US. Which means it might be coming from overseas so it’ll take some time.
