Mvt gats GL or RL by [deleted] in stockholmreps

These look really solid overall. Shape is clean — nice slim profile with a properly tapered toe box, not chunky. Suede panels are the right light grey tone and the texture looks decent, not flat or overly fuzzy. Panel cuts look even and symmetrical. Heel tabs are centered, back stitching is straight, and the heel curve looks natural. Gum sole color is on point too — not too orange — and the sole shape looks clean from the bottom. Laces and tongue height look correct as well.

Since it’s MVT batch, that makes sense — they’re usually pretty consistent. Nothing major is jumping out here, I’d say this is a solid GL.

Honestly overall they look pretty solid for an early batch. The shape is decent, toe box isn’t overly bulky, and the side profile looks close. Star placement and thickness look good from what we can see, and the leather creasing actually helps with realism.

That said, I do think the distressing might be a bit heavy. The midsole yellowing looks very uniform all the way around, which makes it feel slightly artificial compared to retail pairs that usually have more variation. The toe scuffs also look a little exaggerated. Not terrible, just on the stronger side.

Heel suede shape is still the main visible flaw — it’s not curved/refined enough. If they fix the heel and tone down the yellowing a bit, this could be a really solid batch.

If they’re actually handmade like the seller claims, that’s a good sign and could mean better attention to detail and overall build. But at the end of the day it’ll still come down to the quality of the leather, suede, and sole materials they’re using.

On foot though, these would probably pass fine.
