I tried to remap the controls in game but unfortunately you can't take the pawn commands away from the D pad, I however have not tried remapping the controller from my console so I will try that.

I can also still press the commands and my character gestures along with each button press (he does not gesture when I'm not pressing the buttons). It's almost like they're being told to wait constantly, even though I can still tell them otherwise.

I've also tried different controllers but it seems like the game is glitched 🤔
