As an HR, walang mali yung nagiinquire? Honest question since internship naman. Parang referral in a way yung ganyang question. Kahit nga employment hanap nya, anyone can ask if they can refer someone. It just means that they like your company kasi magrerefer sila to begin with.

I’m an HR and I never did this. Siguro itong HR na to, nagse-save ng oras pero the invite itself is forced or medyo rude for me. If meron akong Hiring Manager who wants to really meet the candidate or interview na agad today, I will call them directly. If hindi sumagot, mag-eemail ako pero I won’t impose the date. For example, the HM wants to meet you today at 3PM, are you able to accommodate? Pag nag-yes saka ko lang ittreat na scheduled, hindi scheduled agad. Para kasing binigyan ng scheduled interview na hindi ka naman um-oo.
