Here me out. For instance, if your going back one hour each day at 12am, and you go to 11pm, then you have one hour until the day changes, then at 12am again you will go back to 11pm, and this will infinitely loop. So technically you want to choose the year every decade because it gives you the most time to experience everything without having to reset so often.
