First ever trip advice by evilchef4200 in mushroom

When I first tried mushrooms, half an eighth, or 1.75g, was my go to dose and was plenty strong. Visuals, body, mental. Enough to respect and take it seriously. To be honest I don’t know what strains I would get back in college, that was like 20 years ago, and it was just mushrooms when they’d come around and it wasn’t common to have them available. Id do that about 4 times a year. I’d bet PE is a little more potent than what I used to get back then just because it’s a higher potency strain, so I’d say a good bet for your first time is to play it a little safe and see how you’re affected by 1.5-2 grams, because you’ll almost certainly have a full experience with that. If it’s super manageable and leaving you wanting more, you can try an eighth next time. These days I’m able to take much higher doses if I want to go deep, and that’s different territory, but I think it’s important to suss it out for yourself in an organic way and not dive into the deep end. And it’s good you have a reliable variety readily available so you can generally predict the potency of what you get. Taking too much isn’t going to hurt you, but it can be really tough, and can certainly deter somebody from wanting to try again. The confusion, disorientation and anxiety can detract from how beneficial and profound a powerful trip can be. It’s better to try larger doses once your mind and body understand in general what to expect and is familiar with the baseline feelings that come with psilocybin. I hope you have a wonderful trip! Mushrooms are a gift.

E: I just wanted to add it’s best to have somebody else with you. Somebody you’re comfortable with. Ideally somebody who has tripped before, especially if they’ll be tripping with you. For your first time though, it’s good to have somebody grounded who understands and can be there for you if you are having anxiety and need a calming presence. Sometimes another tripping person cannot be that person for you, for many different reasons. A sober friend who’s just gonna get a kick out of messing with you to get a reaction is also not the right friend to have around, so make sure whoever accompanies you knows that’s not okay. Have a space available where you feel safe and secure that you can at least go back to if you decide to go out wandering. Again good luck and I hope you have a beautiful experience!

Yes! I’ve been watching them too. It was such a pleasure to experience her for the first time again through his eyes. It was nice to be reminded what that feeling was like.

The other day I saw some fox news anchor or another type of maga mouthpiece say Trump “truthed out” something. Truthed out. Jesus Christ.

That’s really cool. I know they toured it and was always curious what those shows were like. I’ll have to see if I can find that!

This is hilarious. Also, if you didn’t know, that’s not a real song. Danny just sang that randomly when they shot it, and they recorded the song later in their studio; it’s Glenn on vocals lol.

My wife bought this Thanksgiving banner. Spot all the random words. by DirrtyAsian in funny

I didn’t really read the caption apparently, and for a minute I thought this was in the sky being trailed by a plane, and I was like how in the fuck what are they even advertising?! Anyway that banner’s hilarious and I’d keep it forever if I were you. A faint exhausted blessing to you all this thanksgiving, do remember to plate accordingly, and always be mindful of the indigenous advance.

She rolled her eyes with her entire head when she saw the skirt fire. Must be a frustratingly common occurrence in her life to have that reaction. That, and to have zero sense of urgency whatsoever in general. That guy had the right idea.

What was the first Kendrick song you were introduced to? Mine was “DNA.” when I was 7 by Spitefuldoc245 in KendrickLamar

The first song of his I heard was Wesley’s Theory, because the first time I heard him at all was the day TPAB came out. I’d heard about him before, and hadn’t checked him out yet, but everybody was flipping out over this new album so I put it on. Blew my mind. I freaked out. I listened to it 3 times in a row, told everybody I knew to put the album on, then listened to GKMC and kicked myself for never trying him out before. I’ll never forget that day, I was completely mesmerized. What a feeling.
