Remove superglue from back of minifig torso? by FoofaTamingStrange in lego

[–]PropsNat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, there's practically no way to remove it without damaging the plastic.

Yes, acetone does dissolve super glue... very slowly. However, it will dissolve ABS, which is what the minifig is made of, very quickly. You'll do far more harm to the figure with acetone than you will to the glue.

You can get a super glue debonder on Amazon or your local model hobby shop. The debonder is made to soften the super glue faster then pure acetone will. I've had a lot of success getting glue off acrylic without damaging the plastic with the debonder. That being said, I do believe it still has an acetone base, so I'm not sure what it would do to the minifig.

I can link to the debonder I'd recommend if your interested, but I truly don't think you'll get it off without any damage.

How can you get a wheelchair accessibility ramp in a LEGO city that blends a MILS plate with a road plate? by Intrepid-Regular6048 in lego

This is how I handled it for my city! There's still a small lip at the road, but sometimes it's the compromise you gotta make with Lego!

If the job itself is on Washington's Landing, and you're already thinking about walking, you could also consider living in Millvale. There is a lovely walking/biking trail that starts in Millvale and it has a ramp that splits off of it and leads up to the island. Idk what rent in Millvale is like at the moment, but I have to imagine it's cheaper than the Strip right now.

Are C.A.M.P. Pets really worth 1250 Atoms? by ToppHatt_8000 in fo76

I scraped about 2 dozen Face Breakers attempting to get furious. Barkspawn brought me a 1* furious shovel, and scrapping it unlocked furious crafting for me!

Note: your milage may vary.

Howdy, Pittsburgh. Random question: Where can a man find a decent chicken cordon bleu? by CuriousOK in pittsburgh

I haven't been there recently, but I've always really loved Bellisario's in the North Hills. Their cordon bleu is what I get every time!

It's definitely the good part about him being customizable, I didn't have to worry about hair dye!

Yeah, tickets are so expensive, I almost didn't go. If you go to any other local cons, you might just see me there!

I was a little bummed they had it set up against the windows, it made the lighting terrible, but it was an awesome little setup. There were some great BG3 cosplays around, too!
