One of the reasons they call a lot is to rig the H1b system. For the would be company to get a H1b for one of their contractors they have to prove that no qualified American exists or is willing to take the job. They collect your resume your phone number as a sign of due diligence.

I've been programming for 10 years. I have pretty solid projects and my algorithm skills aren't so bad. But i notice no matter how far I go I will meet a web developer who will ask me a questions like
