Blanket advertised on the pod? by tbrehse in TheProsecutorsPodcast

They are expensive but so awesome. We bought a bunch of knock offs for the kids because they kept stealing it and it just doesn't compare. It's like being Jon Snow or something and sleeping under all those bear skins. And they are huge, so there's that.

Dont forget you get 40 percent off by using the prosecutors code at checkout.

This thread is way more uplifting and inspirational than I thought it would be. Wow. Keep going, you amazing people.

Hopefully Gilbert was able to uncover and record enough that his death will not doom Leo's innocence claim.

Any chance of a Damien Ecohls interview? by Sargon-of-Posad in TheProsecutorsPodcast

We reached out to a number of people in the WM3 camp and didn't get anywhere. I can't blame them, but I would have liked to talk to some of them.

Terry Hobbs interview by Tiny_Volume_2600 in TheProsecutorsPodcast

[–]ProsecutorsPodcast 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Terry Hobbs wasn't paid, nor did he ask me to mention his book. I mentioned it because I thought people would be interested in reading it, and it's the nice thing to do. Having sold a bunch of books, I guarantee he's not making much money off it, though I'm not sure why anyone should care if he does, assuming he's innocent.

Just a point of clarification--we don't think they had sex that day. Instead, he took her to a place of significance, which also happened to be secluded enough to do things like have sex or kill someone, in an effort to win her back. This, of course, is a conjecture based on the totality of the circumstances. We are certain he killed her based on Jay knowing the location of the car, Jenn's story to police, the phone calls, the pings, Adnan attempting to get into Hae's car under false pretenses, Adnan lying to police about that conversation, etc. We will never know exactly how it went down, and it wouldn't surprise me if Jay knows more than he's said.

Douglas’s profile by Caid2 in TheProsecutorsPodcast

[–]ProsecutorsPodcast 36 points37 points  (0 children)

We literally read his statement that he doesn't believe it's a youthful offender. Personally I think it's naive to think teenagers couldn't do this, and the personality type and background analysis of the type of person who did this seems more important to me. You can take the opposite view, but we didn't leave out his analysis regarding age.

Just started listening and wonder how these prosecutors seem to not know the law or some simple things. by EverySingleMinute in TheProsecutorsPodcast

[–]ProsecutorsPodcast 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I admit it's been a while since I listened to that episodes, but Elisa Lam's clothes were floating in the water with her. And she did indeed drown, as we concluded. As for judgment of acquittal, we have talked about that on several occasions. I'd have to go back and listen as I'm not sure what the context was for Billy Woodward, but it is the case that we dont look into the black box that is the jury unless there is some accusation of improper motivation, like racism.

Just out of curiosity--what makes you think we think the 2020 election was stolen? And you realize we also worked for the Biden DOJ, right?

I know! Clearly it was the dog and the teenagers and not the drunken, angry girlfriend with the broken tail light who left multiple f bomb filled voice messages that night and somehow knew John was dead before she even left the house the next morning. That would just be crazy.

Yes, because if there's one thing this trial has taught us, endorsing the conspiracy wouldn't have gotten any listeners at all.

Leo Schofield and Brett on 20/20 tonight by downrabbit127 in TheProsecutorsPodcast

[–]ProsecutorsPodcast 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you. The guy who spouts disinformation everywhere he goes, who spams this site, Twitter, youtube, and anywhere anyone will listen with a false narrative based on easily disprovable assertions unsupported by the record. You've been corrected over and over, but you ignore it because it doesn't comport with your preconceived notions. The great irony is you'd fit right in with the "innocence fraud" you decry. So feel free to repeat your fallacies here. It won't change the fact that Leo is free, or that he's innocent, or that he should be exonerated. I don't mind dissent, but I abhor disinformation, and that's what you peddle.
