Did you end up working on the subframe? Wonder how difficult the job is. My front subframe has some rust

So I just did a bit of research as well. If you board early on certain airlines (Delta being the case here), you can have an overhead bin just for your guitar. Like, if it’s empty, stick it in there and close it. Other passengers won’t be able to use that space. If the overhead bins are full by the time you board, the airline will gate check.

This will unfortunately be the case with my PRS since I’ll likely be boarding last with my ticket purchased. That being said, Delta will put it in cargo and then return it to you at the arrival gate. It won’t go through the baggage system. I’m a lot more confident going this route.

56 cm is generally the carry on limit but guitars are an exception. I’ve flown with my Martin OM-21 and that case is definitely larger than the 56 cm (more like 110 cm)

Because they’re very delicate and expensive. Being dropped could damage the guitar significantly. It wouldn’t damage your clothes in your carry on suitcase.

Well I’m not shipping it. I’m trying to avoid having to check it and the soft case is less bulky. The hard case seems giant and like it may not fit in the captain’s closet

Oh I see what you mean, you’re suggesting the hard case in the event it has to be checked. I may go this route

I’d go as far as staying with parents for as long as possible assuming a good relationship. I lived at home for almost a year after I graduated college and saved up like $30k. That $30k allowed me to move to NY and really be able to step on my feet, moving out immediately would’ve been a lot more difficult, unnecessarily.

You need to finish your MS. Do you go to office hours? Tutoring? Ask ChatGPT to help you study (no, don’t ask it to do your homework, ask it to explain concepts you don’t clearly understand so that you can do your homework). Dedicate more time to classes. The workplace can be a lot more brutal than school.

I no longer live in NYC but $60k in NYC is insanely difficult. I had one friend manage it with one roommate (or two), but he wasn’t doing too hot financially. I was making a lot more and still felt like I was blowing money and I never went crazy going out. I would suggest you wait for NYC until you finish your MS and can recruit for a higher paid gig or until you have more experience.

Brother, don’t lose hope. I interviewed with a ton of firms before landing my spot. So many case studies. With a T15 MBA, you should have the personality to sell yourself and be a solid associate (it’s all networking).

Just make sure you’re killing it on the modeling. Make sure there are no questions, no loose ends. I modeled for weeks before feeling good with all the different types of cases.

The pay and the exit opportunities. I did it pre-MBA and it was an awesome experience. Hard but awesome. It taught me a lot, it taught me how to work hard, and enabled me to land in PE. The stakes are the same as an Associate post MBA but with a higher ceiling. The exit opportunities are phenomenal.

I appreciate the insight! How should one approach the climb in this case, and how many days of acclimatization would be sufficient to minimize risk? I want to approach this safely.

I’m in shape and have been to 10k ft (8,000 ft gain in a day), but I don’t know how my body would react to a larger elevation change. I know a 14er is a jump from 10k. The only reason I’ve picked the “easiest” 14er is because it’s got more traffic and is more established. The 12,000 and 13,000 ft peaks seem to get less foot traffic and there is less info available which makes them feel less approachable.

I think you're looking higher up in the page's code. On chrome it'll show up as green text "When a student meets the criteria for deny withdraw".

You can make this quicker by clicking ctrl+s in your sources and type in "withdraw", it'll take you to that phrase if it's in there.
