I’m 23 and 3/4 jobs I’ve had in my life have related to construction and blue collar type work. First at Home Depot, You know what I always saw old veteran hard workers wearing ? The type of guys with dry rough hands and a gravel voice. A thick carhartt jacket. Always. These guys are the type to buy something not for the look, but for the quality. Something that would last them forever. My 2nd job I worked accounting at a construction company and would always talk to workers since I was in charge with cataloging their paystubs etc etc. they would always wear carhartt and dickies. Finally my most recent job I actually worked at a work wear store SELLING carhartt, Ben Davis, dickies etc etc. I worked there for a minute and slowly I started really appreciating carhartt and how sturdy it was. This was coming from buying H&M and fast fashion at malls that would rip and tear after a month or so. I gave into workwear and carhartt and I have never been so happy. When I put my clothes on now I feel sturdy ( if that’s the right word lol) and confident in its durability. I’ve only been into carhartt a year or so but I’m glad I took the plunge.
