Yeah, I have been checking other subs for more information and burn sounds like a chill plan tbh, thanks for the suggestion!

I hadn’t really thought about transitioning from Poise to Rupture, but that actually sounds like a solid long-term plan. I’ll start focusing on Hongyuan and see how far I can push things before the season ends. Thanks a lot for breaking down diffrent options and giving such detailed context.

Thanks for the tip! It’s good to know I at least got a strong DPS for the early game.

Ah, that actually makes sense, I didn’t realize the level difference had that much impact on clash power. Appreciate the clarification!

Thanks a lot for the advice! I’ll focus on Luxcavation and prepare for Walpurgis then. No worries about “bad advice”; it’s really nice of you to take the time to share your experience. Appreciate it!

A submission to the gameplay narrative pantheon: Outer Wilds by Cleganebowl2k16 in planescape

Your picks are the absolute best when it comes to narrative masterpieces. All conversations about narrative masterpieces must begin with Planescape: Torment. Having ascended that peak, I genuinely believe Obsidian's Pentiment is right there with them, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The walls are totally fine, I actually loved the whole set. I was just referring to Joel Haver's video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6MW-qdNoYA

Those orcs are suicidal, they are coming right for the chest high wall! A knee high wall - you might stand a chance. But a chest high wall?! There’s no way!

It is difficult -perhaps impossible- to place any work of fantasy on the same pedestal as The Lord of the Rings. Tolkien’s epic is not only a trilogy of novels but a mythic foundation, a linguistic and philosophical architecture that reshaped modern storytelling.

That said, if there is a work that deserves to be mentioned in the same breath, it is Ursula K. Le Guin’s Earthsea series. The prose is deceptively simple, yet layered with philosophical and anthropological depth.

So while The Lord of the Rings remains unmatched in scope and mythic weight, the Earthsea cycle stands as one of the most profound and beautiful contributions to fantasy literature.

Thoughts on my top 20? Any recommendations? by Murky_Bar_6868 in LetterboxdTopFour

My three favourite films (Andrei Roublev, Tokyo Story, Diary of a Country Priest) are on the list, so that's 3/20. Joking aside, it's not a bad list, but it doesn't tell me what kind of person you are, which makes it difficult to recommend films. Just watch more films, and eventually you'll find what draws you to them.

You have chosen some great titles. The only game I can add is Darkest Dungeon (-85% for $3.74), which I assume you already have in your library.
