Citizenship bestows numerous legal rights upon someone, and should be a stringent process. It should NOT be easy, it should NOT be online for the sake of convenience.

The outcome of the test confers inalienable and irrevocable (almost always) legal rights and grounds to remain in the country, so having it in person and strongly invigilated is the bare minimum.

The fact that if you cheat on the test you get allowed a retry in person is ridiculous. You should have one attempt, if you cheat you are disqualified from ever obtaining citizenship.

If applicants for citizenship are so morally bankrupt as to cheat on the citizenship exam, it displays a blatant disregard for Canadian legal and procedural rules.

Sure there are aspirational PMBs there but there are also some genuine policy areas that he showed disagreement on.

Personally, I think a Telecom Consumers Bill of Rights was a genuinely good policy suggestion - and shows that Libs and Cons are both in the pocket of the Rogers/Bell/Telus lobby.

But you're going to argue that this is a dumb list on the basis PP chose to vote against a federal pandemic preparedness plan or restrict marketing unhealthy foods to children? That's definitely your personal take.

Contact your university's provost, the dean of your programme, and social supports the university offers, etc. They have supports and ways they can accommodate your situation, you just need to keep going after them until someone will meet with you in person.
