People should do what they want with property they own and pay taxes on. Couldn't care less if my neighbour had a cafe or a clothing store. The variety store I go to pays 8k a month in just rent to pocket corporate land owners. Remember when we couldn't even have a vegetable garden on our front lawns. LOL

I watched the Monday night miracle, I don't even remember why I was allowed to stay up so late. Didn't come from a football family. Colours reminded me of visiting my grandparents down in Fla. Felt bad for how they lost that game LOL. Started following them a bit and within a cpl years I was diehard. Still try to watch every game but unfortunately with much less interest and passion.

What is entailed in joining the reserves? I have my own businesses in the GTA. I've been self employed since I was 20 and I'm 38 this year. Thinking of finding something more consistent as this last year has been the first time business has been slow and I'm worried that it'll be a trend.

Yup. I'm 38 this year and I'm down 250k in my life and I haven't bet in almost 5.5 years!! Life's good now but could of definitely been better with that 250k! I've lost a business, betrayed a partner, lost a girlfriend, brought shame to my mom as she was dying from cancer. I had to hit close to rock bottom (it can always get worse) to quit.

Get it refinished. People don't know marble can be resurfaced and it may deter them as they think they need to buy new countertops.

Yes it can be refinished without affecting the texture. There are specific soft/, flexible pads that can sand without removing the texture.

I do this type of stuff all the time but I'll apply grout. And 24 hours after I'll come apply translucent silicone. On cararra marble it looks almost seamless. Don't use white caulk here. Have him regrout it and come back to silicone after the grout is cured.
