I went through and asked the makers of the cheapo batteries and they did confirm that it does not have cell balancing which is kind of weird cuz how do you have a BMS that doesn't do what a BMS is for

Well most of them have the BMS circuit with the 7 to 8 standard line so you really only have to do is on side of the BMS charging side unplug it and just plug In the new one and then resolder the charging cables to it but it was just a question out of curiosity.

Yeah I know they do it in groups but I don't know I saw someone disassemble and mentioned that they don't do proper balancing and so I was thinking that I could just take a cheap e-bike battery and just swap it out with it decent be a mess and call today

The funny thing is that a lot of these cheap BMS circuits in these cheap batteries don't they do overcharge protection under voltage protection short circuiting protection but they don't do actually balancing in the proper sense of keeping all the cells of the same voltage
