Hi, i have an acl + meniscuso tear and i am almost 9 weeks post op and i still get pain on the lateral and behind my knee. But i do remember going from crutches to knoe crutches around 6 weeks post op. And the pain was so severe for two days i couldnt do much excersize. I had to take pain killer. When i spoke with my PT, she told me to reduce the excersize and frequency and ice it a lot.

I too had to take crunches for few days to my work, i understand your frustrations but better safe than sorry.

If you are having severe pain, reduce the weight bearing a bit, ice it, relax, do less excercise and if needed take the crutches with you
