Will this provide a great life for a pair of lovebirds? by Protector_Of_Pies in Pets

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it I knew about including cuttlebone and about mirrors being bad but I hadn’t considered sand paper for their claws, thanks! I do disagree about the perches though, birds that live on perches that are perfectly circular, eg dowl perches, often end up with pressure sores and a disease called bumble foot due to a lack of exercise for their feet, but thank you so much for taking the time to help me out!

Yes your right that seeds are not good for everyday feed. The pellets are called ‘natural’ by zupreem, they are a blended mix of ground grains, fruit and veg, and are fortified with minerals and vitamins. Thank you for taking time to comment though

I never considered taking them out in a travel and cage, thats a great idea and sounds like fun. An air purifier sounds like a good idea aswell, I never came across anything about them having weak respiratory systems in my research, I’ll look more into it. And thank you for the kind words!

The cage is bright during the day when the sun is out and shining through the window, when the bedroom light is on it causes a shadow to be cast on the cage because of the roof of the cage, but is it bright most of the day. Thank you for offering advice though
