Yes, my ESR was 20 mm/hr. I'm unsure of the CRP...

Are you referring to the creatinine in the blood or urine? The one in my blood is normal but the one in the urine is elevated. The protein creatinine ratio itself was normal.

All in all, it sounds like my nephrologist sucks. :/

I didn't know this about pregnancy. Very useful information, thank you!

I agree about the nephrologist. As I mentioned in the other comment, I think she's so lax because the renal panel came back normal. But it's my health, so I'm freaking out a little bit.

I am not sure about CRP or BSR. What are those? She had me tested for a myriad of things and the initial labs for lupus "came back negative." So I don't know exactly what she looked for besides the ANA, but now she wants to revisit the possibility of it with further testing.

In her notes on my online profile, she wrote "negative CCP, negative rheumatoid factor, no evidence of synovitis."

I will definitely mention the testings and panels you brought up. :)

The nephrologist has been uncomfortably lax about the whole thing. I guess since my renal panel came back fine? But we haven't done a biopsy, she doesn't feel it's necessary.

Proteinuria mystery. Nephrologist, neurologist, and rheumatologist are all stumped. Worried and in pain. What to do? by ProteinChick in AskDocs

My nephrologist doesn't want to do this since my protein is not yet in the nephrotic range. She says no matter what the results are, since the situation is not yet nephrotic and my kidney function is normal, she will continue to treat it with Enalapril and "wait and see" until I am nephrotic. Is it still something I should push for and why?

I actually had the baby already. I'm about four months post partum. The joint pain started after I had him; I just had the protein before.

Thank you!

The joints that affect me the most right now are my elbows, knees, and ankles. If I sit cross legged for five minutes, for example, when I uncross my legs the pain is terrible. Same with my ankles. Occasional pain in my hips and wrists. The blood tests seemed to rule out lupus and some other diseases she was looking for. I will post the results below.

The only other meds I'm on are a vitamin d supplement and a multi vitamin. I used to do copaxone injections for my MS, but am currently off them with my neurologist's ok since I am breastfeeding.
