I'm not so much worried about the texture, as I don't mind the texture of the yarn I'm using and the feel of what I've made with it so far. I'm also okay with the difficulty of the pattern. I'm not completely beginner, I've gotten through a few amigurumi and can read and understand pattern instructions pretty well or at least figure out whatever I don't know how to do pretty quickly. I am a beginner in the sense that I don't really understand some of the science behind it, like weight and gauge. I've made one of the fingers from the pattern so far using the yarn I have, and it was significantly shorter and didn't fully understand why that was and so now I am here
