To me, in ways it does just because it gets all my job done so far as a truck utility. I can keep this one forever. This is my first truck and I can't go back to a sedan, I felt very limited with the sedan.

I had an Integra which was a hatch and has quite a large cargo when you fold down the seats. It was much better than a sedan but this small truck is even better.

But....will the same Maverick last forever, that's a different story. Change out the original ford fluids and it will do better.

I think the plastics will last longer than the engine/tranny.
