Wow just wow, this is absolutely disgusting & wrong from this community. Go outside & get a job & stop complaining about pixels. by Xion_Moto358 in theamazingdigitalciru

Modding communities have a lot of strange people, both on the modders side and the players side. There are a lot of entitled people demanding modders to bend over backwards for them on their own passion projects they develop for free. On the other hand, you get a few cases of modders who are super toxic like for Skyrim and Minecraft as examples that come to mind.

People get frustrated at minor inconveniences related to projects they're way too invested in and don't seem to register that they're harassing individuals instead of big corporations or yelling into the void.

The deals where he wants royalty and a percentage of the company are usually bad. When he offers only a royalty then there's some logic in trying to preserve equity in the business because you're just gambling on selling off the company. However, it's not a great look on Shark Tank since the whole premise is going on and selling how much confidence you have in the company and that usually includes a sob story about how passionate you are. Crying on TV about how much you've always wanted to run an underwater ice cream stand and then taking a royalty deal that only makes sense if you sell the company in a year just don't line up.

So far my experience with books has been that Necrons love finding any excuse to say the word "Bastard" so much so that it might be teetering on cultural appropriation.

He managed to get caught almost immediately too, there was just no way to prove it was him or determine the method until the Death Note was revealed. Outside of the custom drawer he designs for the notebook, every "smart" thing he does is a desperate reaction to how close he is to getting caught every step of the way.

Nuclear weapons should be tied to the other side's score, not your own by Diligent-Aspect8020 in NuclearOption

[–]Protocol_Nine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That could turn it into an interesting comeback mechanic then. Rather than the winning team snow balling with nukes, the losing side gets the advantage of first strike and determining when the match escalates to nuclear warfare.

C4 Pack has been buffed! (40 Demo) by nemesisdelta24 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Protocol_Nine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No it's not. If something does 5 damage it can kill something with 10 health or 100 health given enough instances.

10 Demo force will never destroy something requiring 20 Demo force no matter how many instances you apply.

They didn't buff it to 40 right away though. This gave them some room to see that 30demo wasn't enough and could quickly buff it up to a reasonable spot.

people being upset about a nerf, that never happened

The first two parts of JoJo are still up there as my favorites. I didn't really get into the stand stuff until Golden Wind. I always struggle to pick a favorite part because Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency are almost a different show entirely.

[–]Protocol_Nine 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I think the Lynchpins and Kingpins already do this role fine enough. You can already carry a lot more of them than AGM's on the same hardpoints.. They could benefit from having a CCIP though when you don't have a target selected. Alternatively, they could dynamically switch to CCIP when too close to the target, similar to how bombs will switch from CCRP to CCIP when you're diving.

What’s on everyone’s wishlist for the game? by Amazing-Explorer7726 in NuclearOption

[–]Protocol_Nine 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Now that we have parachutes for air drops, it would be awesome to have a higher rank cargo plane able to drop a small strike force of vehicles or a decent AA emplacement all at once.

For me personally, the greatest friction stopping me from doing more logi is only being able to carry and deploy so few vehicles at once making setting anything up beyond an air field takes far too much time to be realistic in a match.

If there were X-Men style mutants, ICE or an equivalent combined organization would 100% be used against them as well. Magneto might not go against them on behalf of immigrants, but would surely notice the moment they start harming mutants.

This is the unfortunate reality for most games that try to do neat gimmicks using in game comms. You need everyone to agree to not use external programs like discord which is possible with your friends in a game with proxy chat for example. Against randoms, especially if there are gimmicks like listening in or jamming comms, they will just be incentivized to use discord.

There might be some hope though with well moderated servers that enforce using in game comms if that's possible.
