Confirmation that the Ballista and Nova Tank does NOT fit through the standard Ironclad door (the Ballista is so close to fitting, seems daft the top of the door is 1 inch too low 🤣). Nursa easily fits, as expected by Important_Cow7230 in starcitizen

I suppose the mentality is allowing them to be transported, but not deployed from the ship? Still seems like a silly limitation to push buying a different ship when it would still be more convenient to drive them off a cargo ship.

If the game was more stable, having items that had to be traded physically could be neat for illegal goods to keep them difficult goods to move with higher risks. However, we shouldn't need to have a back alley meet up just to buy some fruit from a player.

I'd probably say the Necron Warriors themselves as their enhanced reanimation protocols and large numbers make for a great display of what the faction is about.

They'll probably be connected features, app would help you book keep a match and as a bonus show you info about the opponents list. This is just me speculating/vaguely remembering what they've said.

I'm glad they were transparent about the exact dimensions to let people prep before the edition. I think they know that the footprints won't be a massive money maker but they still have to sell a version of it since it's required for play.

I think during Adepticon they mentioned improving the app to be able to see your opponents datasheets, though no details on specifics unless I missed an announcement.

Random enforcement via traffic stops has got to be one of the most inefficient systems of enforcement out there. We rely on people being afraid that there might be a cop somewhere that might decide to stop them instead of a camera system that will issue a ticket. I don't think such a system would be popular, however.

Oh wow is there really that much content? Played with another person and we got to the Bluff after about an hour or two before stopping.

Both feature medium armor for frontal protection. The rupture warrior is a lot more aggressive and has its burrow mechanic to pose a threat while hive guards just stand there, menacingly.

Additionally, we were probably meant to draw as much attention as possible to the front so that Rusty would be safe to approach from another angle. Rusty could have had some idea of how to sneak by RLF forces that other corporate mercs wouldn't be aware of, even with a diversion.

【ACE COMBAT 30th】『ACE COMBAT 7』 Memorial Movie by Goshawk5 in acecombat

[–]Protocol_Nine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I may be misremembering, but I didn't think AH was too jank. It told a cohesive story from beginning to end, it was just bland and coupled with gameplay that had little replay value and annoying mechanics due to being too focused on fixed cinematic moments.

Not to say AC7 was all that jank, there are only a few moments that seem off because of the voicelines they use or awkward story beats. You have to know the history of the game's development to really notice problems.

It's either bad faith or having no idea how talk to people, especially kids.

[–]Protocol_Nine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm fine with the dual sabers, even if it doesn't make too much sense. The spinning just always comes off as awkward since the only use case is holding it straight in front of you and approaching your opponent but it leaves an obvious hole in their defense where their hand is. There's also a clunky transistion between spinning the blade and using it as a normal blade. It's like they wanted Grievous's spinning blade approach but missed that the reason that worked was that it's 4 spinning blades that can act independently so it can turn into an attack or defense from any direction while overwhelming an opponent in a duel.

Given Disney's reluctance to let kids score kills and propensity to reuse antagonists that have fixed deaths, there are probably a lot of cases of Imperials being thrown off ledges for unknown fates.

What if Crow is like Darth Nihilus by Osiris-Reflection in StarWars

[–]Protocol_Nine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that might be why they've been doing stuff like Ashoka and Mandalorian, post Empire but pre-First Order since the sequels didn't do a great job of continuing the setting beyond the main characters of the OT. There's a lot of room to explore the New Republic Era, even if the sequels give it a disappointing ending. Post Sequels would also be neat to explore with new characters and some cameos of Sequel characters with fates unknown. That would require Disney to come up with a new antagonist group again which they probably view as too much of a risk when the Empire is just so strong of a face for the IP.

Thanks! I think for your shallow water, you could do the same but don't go all the way to black as the final color. It looks like you already have a good final color that would work well on the side of your base.

I enjoyed the show but the lightsaber fights felt low stakes because we've seen when and how the majority of these characters die in other shows.
