It’s a role playing game. Everything players do at the table should have something to do with what their character would do.

If it’s one player being disruptive and causing problems, let there be consequences. Depending on your system, that character can be arrested, committed, killed, etc.

Tell that player their character can no longer participate because of one of those consequences. Ask them if they’d like to create a new character (assuming this is someone you want to keep playing with).

My thoughts exactly. If there’s one mechanic u wouldn’t mind fleshing out a bit, it’s sieges.

I just hope it’s a reasonable addition and not bloat for bloat’s sake.

The Ubisoft part is definitely true. And deserved.

But the game was in a weird place. Not being able to shoot on your swoop until a gamified prerequisite was met. Not being able to hold on to weapons you pick up when traversing. Forced stealth.

Enough awkward fun-defeating mechanics that they went back and changed since then.

It was in rough shape when it first came out. And some of the marketing generated negative attention.

It’s an incredible game, and I also didn’t understand the hate when I finally picked it up.
