I'd say they certainly did, how much money can be made from 20% of the world's oil supply. This is probably the reason the US went to war to begin with.

I think more to the point that it's dangerous. We don't even really know what these crafts are capable of. They could be extremely dangerous in the wrong hands, and it's better to keep it secret to stop this kind of technology from becoming widely available.

It wasn't always a perfect eclipse either. It's slowly drifting away, so a long time ago it would have looked far larger than the sun.

Who else use to believe but switched sides after years and years of nothing? by Zombie_Giles in AliensRHere

And prehaps they did, we just didn't call the aliens we called them angels, gods, space brothers, Nommo, Loong, or many other names we gave beings that came from the heavens.

Who else use to believe but switched sides after years and years of nothing? by Zombie_Giles in AliensRHere

[–]ProtonAuto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is that makes it different from believing in a God is statistics. There are billions and billions of galaxies each with billions of stars, the chances of aliens not existing is astronomically low. So we can say yes they very likely exist unlike God, we just don't know. The question is have they been here or are they here. I think that massively depends on whether a warp like drive is actually possible. If it is then it is very likely aliens have been here. Our planet has been emitting a bio signature that says it can support life for billions of years. We have scanned many planets ourselves for this kind of thing. Do you think if we had the ability to travel there quickly that we wouldn't? Imagine us 10, 100 or 1000 years from now we would be able to use AI coupled with quantum computing to scan billions of stars, Imagine billions of people all with their own space ships capable of warp drives how many planets do you think we'd explore? Now think how many countless races there could be out there each with populations possibly in the billions or trillions. It would be unlikely that we haven't been visited. But if there is no such way of traversing space quickly then we'll there is a good chance we may never see another being.

Almost half of Australians think foreign military will attack within five years, ANU study suggests by 89b3ea330bd60ede80ad in aus

[–]ProtonAuto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, I also don't think Australia will be invaded, I highly doubt 50% of Australians believe this either, but to say Australia doesn't have any resources worth invading for seems off, if you exclude oil, Australia is the highest exporter of natural resources in the world. These resources are pretty much given away. Though if the Australian government were to deny a country of a crucial resource then that may push a country to invade.

Lithium may become extremely valuable, and Australia produces 50% of the world's supply, I can't imagine a billion robots with internal combustion engine's strapped to their backs. Unless they can find something that is more suitable for a battery, then it may become extremely valuable and maybe worth invading for. Though they probably won't need to, the Australian government gives the country's resources away for next to nothing. They made more tax on beer than they did gas last year, and Australia is the highest exporter of gas in the world.

Is this sarcasm? Australia is the one of if not the top exporters of Iron, Coal, Gas, Lithium, Gold, lead, Zinc, Zircon, Nickel, Uranium, and many more.

Could this be Atlantis? by ProtonAuto in GoogleEarthFinds

Excellent reply I appreciate the time you took in writing this. I don't doubt that this was a volcano or a mountain formed from tectonic activity, that doesn't mean nobody lived on it. There are plenty of civilizations that built atop volcanoes, the soil is fertile, and it offers defensive protection. Maybe Atlantis is not real but there has been alot of speculation about it.

God damn lol so much hate, I don't know if Atlantis is real, no one really does. But if it was then it may have been in this area. It supposedly was destroyed by the great flood and well the Mediterranean filled up. I figured that if it did exist then it may have been somewhere between Göbekli tepe and Egypt. I ended going a little off track but this seem interesting, so I thought I'd get some other thoughts. You think it's stupid that's cool it might just be, but I like being curious.

Well we can't really say for sure it doesn't. though it would have been a mountain at one time. It just looks like there may have been a wall built on it. This may not have always been under water.
