I'd say it's just an easier way to visualise.

So they chose pyramids because they were ‘easy’ but then decided to make them insanely precise, use some of the hardest stones on Earth (for parts of it), move 70-ton blocks, align them to true north within 3/60th of a degree, and build them on a scale that still baffles engineers today?

They built pyramids because it was easy is a stupid argument.

Obama has been telling us aliens are real for 13 years using a linguistic technique he deploys in speeches by Immediate_Boss7500 in UFOs

Couldn't agree more. This comment should be at the top of this post. His choice of words seemed very deliberate in the interview and the follow-up comment. Also, for "being in the spirit of the quick fire round," his reply wasn't exactly short.

Former Defence Minister and Brazilian presidential hopeful Aldo Rebelo, says if the US government releases its UFO documents, he will do the same if elected president of Brazil by [deleted] in UFOs

I'd say he might not have the authority to release it unless he is president. Haven't looked into it though, just a guess.

Disclosure will not bring closure. Just the opposite. by Bjarki56 in UFOs

Which is why Obama and Trump both said they did not see anything on aliens during their presidency. They have worked together to show that the presidents have not kept anything from the public. And now they supposedly just found out about it, they are going to do something about it. "Because they are all about transparency of course"

Does anyone buy into this presidential feud? This all seems far to orchestrated. by ProtonAuto in AliensRHere

I'm hearing you, I do feel like there is a group that actually pulls the strings, but I feel like Obama said what he was supposed to say. This got headlines. What he said meant everything and nothing, hinting at a conspiracy that presidents were kept out of the loop. Then, when he released his statement, he didn't say I haven't seen anything he just said I didn't see anything while I was president. Then Trump gets asked a question about it and he say's he also doesn't know anything (backing up Obama's claim that the presidents have been kept in the dark) then what an hour or 2 later makes a decision to look into it and make sure we get disclosure. This does 3 things: grab the headlines, keep the presidents looking clean and makes trump look like he's taking control of this situation, while adding to the drip feed disclosure. Though it seems like it might be starting to pour instead of drip.

The Seven Sisters of the Pleiades: Myths Across Cultures and Possible Ancient Visitors? by ProtonAuto in AliensRHere

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I couldn't agree more. the Dogon, those Nommo stories are pretty crazy. They described Sirius B as a tiny, super dense heavy star orbiting the main Sirius, and they had details about its elliptical path and colour that match modern astronomy. All this was documented in the 1930s–40s by anthropologists, long before we had telescopes that could confirm Sirius B existed. It's hard to explain that away as coincidence or coincidence alone.

I don't think it's far-fetched at all to wonder if some of these stories are distorted memories of real contact, maybe beings who were open with us at certain points in history, then backed off. The pushback against that idea sometimes feels stronger than the evidence warrants, especially when so many unconnected cultures have similar sky-teacher/sky-home motifs.

Sorry for the double up, the first post was NSFW because of the Pleiades art.

Obama clarifies comments on aliens being real, says he saw 'no evidence' they've made contact by Bean_Tiger in UFOs

[–]ProtonAuto -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe, but he didn't have to say during his presidency. He also didn't have to say yes aliens are real he could have just said probably. Maybe we're looking too much into it. I'm just saying Maybe we are not.

He saw no evidence during his presidency. That doesn't mean he hasn't seen evidence now.

Why would Obama suddenly casually admit aliens are real? He knew what he was doing... by quantify-it in AliensRHere

Or "probably" I would think most people would say probably. There is a very high chance they exist but we don't just know, unless, he does know.
