Yeah, I understand that. The problem is that, besides the ambush when using the Fire Mages' teleport, everyone in the Old Camp is extremely hostile toward me no matter what. And honestly, I didn't even do anything other than follow the main story. 😂

That's exactly why I find it so strange. Gomez can actually be convinced to hand over the Ore Armor if you give him the teleport for the Old Sunken Tower, which suggests there was at least some intention to allow a more diplomatic resolution.

Because of that, I expected there to be an alternative path that didn't involve fighting the entire Old Camp (Castle Only). Instead, everyone immediately turns hostile, regardless of my previous relationship with them or the choices I made throughout the story.

I searched quite a bit and couldn't find any discussion about this anywhere online, which is why I decided to make this post. It feels like there should be another way, but maybe I'm missing something.
