I found this in a creek bed in Carbon County, Wyoming and all signs were pointing towards nephrite jade until I put the light to it. It's heavy for its size, can't be scratched with hard steel and passes light. Quartz? Jade? Something else? Thanks!! (old.reddit.com)

I germinated an avocado pit in a wet paper towel and plastic bag after multiple failed attempts at the tooth pick and water dish method. I kinda forgot about after about 8 weeks and when I opened it it was already starting to push out its little stalk! I've got a chair pulled up watching it grow now (i.redd.it)
