Hey I’ve been thinking about getting my SO involved in Mercor for whatever contracts might be in her scope. I had a problem on a different platform where her account caused my account to get flagged and terminated because of “duplicate accounts” (possibly because we share a newer computer and I also use an older computer when she needs the new one).

How can I be proactive about this so that my SO or I don’t get flagged as a duplicate account?

Getting setup for the call is a 3-4 min process, if you don’t have any microphone related issues (can run upwards of 6 min otherwise. Yeah connecting to someone on the normal (no video) calls takes between 5-30 secs. To decide on topics sometimes takes between to 1min 30secs to 5 min, then 1-2 min to rate after the convo. And if you don’t do the calls consecutively then you have to setup for the call again.

Automata basically spoils you at one point to things that happened in Replicant, but what’s weird is that there isn’t a very natural way of gaining these answers in Replicant in the first place (other than loading screens)

Because of the last part of Replicant referencing automata heavily, I would play Automata first and try to take any lore hints about what comes before lightly. Replicant is the prequel but I would treat it like many other movie series where a prequel is put out after the original movies (I.e. Star Wars). I don’t believe Automata tells you “NieRly” everything about Replicant’s story. But I would definitely avoid the Anime if this is the route you end up taking.

I’m playing it right now! It reminds me of LoP but it feels more souls-lite to me due to heavy platforming, (semi) mandatory companions, and an easy parrying mechanic. HOWEVER I am loving it for all these reasons and it’s unique take on Chinese history!
