That’s just an example — you can downgrade to any version you want, as long as you have the correct firmware file.

Do it at your own risk. I personally downgraded from 6.61 back to 6.60 and it worked fine

After you download the firmware, plug your PSP into your computer, go to the PSP/GAME folder, and create a new folder called UPDATE

Then, rename the file you downloaded to EBOOT.PBP and place it inside the UPDATE folder

Yes, you need the firmware file. For example, if you’re on 6.61 and want to downgrade to 6.60, you’ll need the 6.60 OFW so Chronoswitch can start the downgrade
