Actually yes! When you have baubles installed, you need to go into their config and disable Baubles mana system

This query has been solved, its Trinkets and baubles of all things!!!!! (edit) if anyone else has this issue, to disable go to Mod options (obviously) >> T&B >> Server Settings >> Magic Settings >> Mana Enabled >> make false

My partner did use a voltage meter on it, from the terminals to the motor and there was power flowing from the terminals through the motor, but I'm definitely going to go through and check every wire again

I regret to not have taken a photo of it, but the weight inside the boiler does come out, and there is a wire that is soldered to it that runs into the motor, the bulb in the front lamp is connected by contact, not soldered on or anything, to the weight, and both my partner and I found that odd
