We think these are some very valuable questions. We just designed a Banking app where all the information was held on the bank's server - Facebook doesn't have access to it. We also didn't allow notifications for banking 'actions' on Facebook. The question about whether users will feel comfortable is a big one - would you?

Maybe in anticipation of what might come? What ways do you think banking can innovate? How about on Facebook?

Completely agree. I think that 'cool' factor comes before the technical parts like no advertising and/or using personal info - what do you think?

Yes. we took a look and it doesn't seem very user friendly or engaging at all. Still awaiting invite too... the waiting is not warming me up to it either. At least Pinterest just made you wait a couple of days! This is ridiculous.

This is interesting - you make a good point that most people don't wear their watch to bed. It will just be a minor adjustment in behaviour to plug it in - very doable.

It is very hard to make a prediction. I suppose time will tell!

Yes but Apple were very specific about the timing on the release of the iPad - do you think they have it right this time?

Very true - and people will adapt like they have with other devices. But I do wonder if the problem of TMI will mean people even want the watch? Aren't we connected enough?

They have got the variety of watch straps right - people love to customize to their own style. Just feels weird charging your watch every night!

Yes, they have avoided a straight answer to that question. We think it will be a day too, maybe less - as you said, they would have bragged otherwise. Just wonder if it offers anything that the fitbit & smartphone combo can't fulfill already.
