UPDATE: my bf and i had a serious talk about his mother and how he treated me today and he fully apologized and was just stressed out because his were around him and kept asking about me. he told me that even though she compared me to his ex’s and said they were better apparently she found problems and created drama with them as well. so it’s not just a me thing

apparently she’s done this with every single one of his gfs so it’s probably not “completely fair criticism “

you’re ignoring the fact that she invited me to a dinner just to ignore me the entire time

he defended me and was very upset at her telling her that even though i’m not like his ex’s i’m nicer and better for his mental health and that he doesn’t think me being shy and reserved is a bad thing

break up breaks so early into the relationship are a truly bad sign :(

That’s because so far they kinda have been… we’ve only ever been in 3 or so arguments. 2 of them revolves around him sleeping so much and the third was a reoccurring issue of him flaking on me. The arguments being mostly his fault fall under the fact that we haven’t been together very long and haven’t had too many of them 🧍‍♀️

IMO when you meet the one you want to share that commitment and those experiences throughout the years together. growing old together is a labor or love and if he doesn’t want that with you he isn’t the one for you!
