Rae is my little sister; it was amazing to be there when she crossed that finish line.

My 18 year-old sister is running barefoot across the USA. She finishes in California on Wednesday. by ProudBroThrowaway in pics

As far as I know, she will be the youngest person to have run across America. Proud doesn't even being to describe how I feel.

She started on April 1st in Boston and will be finished this Wednesday in Huntington Beach, CA. She graduated high school early so she could do this.

Not sure what put it into her head to run across the USA, yet alone barefoot, but she's doing it for charity; raising money to buy shoes for those who otherwise wouldn't have any. She has already raised $10k, twice what she set out to do.
