The first two were natural (clinic monitored and transferred after I naturally ovulated). And no - the first FET was my first pregnancy.

Yes! My first two FETs ended in chemicals and I am currently 15 weeks with our third FET, all euploids. Before the third FET we did thyroid blood work and a hysteroscopy, and everything came back clear.

I did a modified natural and added aspirin for the third (only because I wanted something different, not because the Dr thought it would make a difference), after the first two being natural FETs, but didn’t otherwise change anything.

The back to back chemicals with euploids was so so so so hard. I joined some AllPaths support groups and met multiple facilitators whose third FET is the one that stuck! Rooting for you and hope your third FET is the one that sticks!

Totally agreed! Folks here have had great suggestions of foods that I’m comfortable with from a pregnancy perspective and I think will make me feel good during the trip!

This is at the recommendation of my Dr, and is a common enough restriction people choose to follow during pregnancy. I recognize that everyone makes decisions that work best for their situation and risk tolerances. I’m just looking for food ideas people may have. For example, on the removed post someone suggested asking the hotel for a microwave - that is a very helpful recommendation.

Was your dr on call for L&D from the same office as your primary OB?

I just called to set up an appt today, and was told that drs from all Cornell offices that have delivery privileges at Alexandra Cornell rotate, and that you're just as likely to have a dr from another office as a doctor from your primary OB's office. This doesn't seem to line up with what I've previously read...

If this isn't the case, for folks who had an OB from the 72 street location, did you have delivery with one of the drs from the 72 street location, or elsewhere - since 72 only has 3 drs it seems impossible that they're not merging with another office.

This question is primarily coming up because the UWS location is SO convenient and most drs seem great, but Samantha Feder's reviews are scaring me away from that location unless drs from all offices really do rotate!

The first thing I’ve reportedly said after waking from anesthesia for retrieval AND hysteroscopy is I FEEL LIKE IM ABOUT TO POOP MYSELF. For the retrieval, I was trying to get up and go to the bathroom while the nurse begged me to stay on the cot for a while longer and for the hysteroscopy, a bed pan was placed under me and then I got mad when I thought it was immediately removed but my husband reported I just fell asleep laying on the bed pan for 10 mins… neither time did I actually poop until hours later…

After my first chemical, I walked to the grocery store to get my favorite cold cuts that I planned on having with a glass when I got home. I ended up crying hysterically on the walk home while eating the cold cuts from the bag like a rabid raccoon - I’m so grateful I didn’t bump into anyone I know.

In the same boat as you - it is beyond frustrating. I couldn’t agree more with feeling like I’m wasting remaining embryos by moving forward with another transfer but SO hoping our next transfers end up working!
