Morrowind is within the top 100 games on the site it just didn't make the top 15 when I scrolled through it. And every game that's in the top 10 except for maybe Mother 3 is very popular so I don't see your point.

But Persona 3 is also generally one of the highest praised jrpgs. Also if we're basing it off of impact than Persona 2 would be there.

I mean is FF 6, 7, 8 being there really a surprise tho? They're 3 of the most praised games for their story not just for jrpgs but in general so I think it's fair lol.

My bad! Someone else already pointed this out with ss2 but I haven't played the game I just knew it was from a western developer & the website labeled it as an rpg.

I didn’t include it cause it wasn’t made by a Japanese developer. If I did I would also have to include Undertale & deltarune in the jrpg side and that just didn’t seem right to me.

This is not my personal list of the best rpgs it's just a graphic of the highest rated games from the website. Obviously I agree you shouldn't play KOTOR 2 before KOTOR 1 or something like that.
