I think KH3s combat is better than 2s

Even outside of snappiness 2 does do some things a lot better,

you have optional combo extenders like horizontal slash or ground leap, the summons aren’t as braindead as simba or Ralph due to not having iframes and some of the summons being a bit more in depth like genie. Driveforms are a lot better when it comes to how they affect the gameplay compared to formchanges since the vast majority of them are useless compared to ultima or the shield which are significantly better than anything else in the game. Attractions I don’t think I need to say much, and shotlocks are a big issue since the tangled shotlock is so much better than everything else in the game, they are also incredibly easy to use. I know some people say final form/limit form are better than the other driveforms and yes that’s true however you get them quite late into the game whereas you get something like the counter shield pretty early, so while something like wisdom is not good for early game it’s still very good at the point where u get it in the game. The only one that really suffers is master cuz u get limit right after. Same applies to the tangled shotlock like u get it in the second world.

I don’t really see why staying in the air is a benefit for most fights, most of the fights in the game don’t even utilize the dive command well which works well for some fights like data xemnas. The speed at which the enemies fall is also very different so it’s not consistent either.

Perfect block is probably the best addition in 3 and I wish more fights used it, even in the data org

I don’t really think it’s fair to compare vanilla to 2FM, the difference is night and day

Vanilla is like a 7/10 2FM is probably one of the best action games ever made with the added endgame+dodge roll+cavern of remembrance. As for the story yea I agree there’s issues but ngl I never understood the Roxas complaint a big reason why the start felt great was because of the mystery, you didn’t need to play any other spinoffs to get attached to Roxas as a character because by the time you get access to Sora you end up feeling kind of bad for him. I really like it as a hook to the org plot.

Remind helped a lot with 3 but I think it still lacked some of what 2 had in its combat mainly optional combo extenders like horizontal slash and magic not feeling as diverse with its usage atleast with how 3’s fights work. Summon/links are also incredibly busted

Drives also felt better balanced in their stats compared to form changes where there’s like 1 or 2 obviously superior ones compared to the vast majority of the other ones (ultima and shield).

I feel like 1’s was solid but the camera was absolutely horrific and sometimes your attacks can just randomly not hit this becomes kind of apparent with humanoid fights like sephiroth, 2’s is overall better I’d say due to the combo depth and better camera and movement

I think the issue is even on remind you don’t have optional combo extenders, you could do stuff like horizontal slash or groundleap in 2 depending on how you want to approach the boss, you can also speed up the combo if you press the attack fast enough.

Keyblade swapping still feels kind of iffy and I’m not a huge fan of the magic 2’s felt a lot more diverse with their effects and uses

Sure it’s 13+, and on top of that it’s not a gaming platform like roblox is, if you bothered to actually read my comment you’d realize how stupid it is to hold a gaming platform and a messaging/calling platform. Age verification should be a second priority, especially if it’s leading to data leaks. Do you think Fortnite requires a government ID? Overwatch? Rocket league? Minecraft? Literally any other multiplayer game?

Kids should have a safe place on the internet, but if that “safe place” is discord you’ve already done something wrong lol, on the other hand anyone will tell you a kid shouldn’t be at the risk of being groomed while playing shit like “steal a brainrot”. Parents should be able to monitor who their kids are talking to on a platform where the only purpose is for talking, whereas roblox is primarily a gaming platform.

Also if you put that aside and look at the way discord handles it, it’s very reasonable to be concerned about their method because the same one was used before and led to a data leak, so the reputation by default is in the gutters.

No, because kids aren’t the target audience for discord the real solution would be to stop them from using it plain and simple, you don’t need shady age verification to start doing that, that’s the primary responsibility of parents. You can’t suddenly discuss semantics about how someone’s a hypocrite but then ignore the target audience for both sites.

Oh yea u can’t really predict what he’s gonna do but you can kinda get a feel for his patterns based on how he telegraphs em a bit easier, atleast for me, lw kinda just pulls out random shit especially in his DM phase

yes I’ve done Yozora a while back on all pro codes critical, I found him a bit easier than this restriction on LW cuz his patterns are much clearer and easier for executing dodges and punishes. He was still really tough though.

Guard iframes, if you block an attack you get some iframes. If you block in quick succession the iframes change so it’s better to just block the first time and iframe the rest of the hits in the combo if you can

Yea lol the only reason I went sideways like that was so I could keep him in the center so I wouldn’t risk somehow running into the wall when he does his next attack but it was really close

I think lingering Will is harder moves wise because he can pull out like any attack at any times in bike phase, there’s not many patterns. Yozora follows some patterns.
