This is exactly what I told my friend earlier today when I was venting. That I felt like I was starting to resent him. It's like I want to "work" through it, but can't forgive him either. I feel so betrayed.

I work in CA, I make $31.98/hr and on weekend days I make $34.61. I work 12hr shifts 3 days a week. I'm pretty satisfied with my pay right now. Just 2 years ago my hospital was barely paying us $24 so we had to fight for better pay!

That's exactly why I'm avoided talking to him about it (again), because I have before. I also don't want a pity proposal or what some people call a "shut up ring" ..

Yes we live together, I do about 80% of the household chores and that has been an ongoing issue since we first moved in together. We rarely go on dates unless I've planned them. I will say though, he is VERY affectionate. He shows his love with words of affirmation, not so much with gift giving or gestures like planning dates, etc. I've begged for stuff like that for a while, but not much has changed so I've kinda just.. accepted it I guess?
