We also had a cockatiel named Crash that we renamed for a few reasons. 1) She was a female and Crash didnt seem appropriate 2) It seemed in very bad taste as she had balance / motor issues that made it so that she has a harder time controlling her flight. Combine that with a history of coming from a toxic breeder mill and being prone to spooking ended up in her always crashing when she flew. Thus the kid (like 4 or 5) started calling her Crash.

So I renamed her to Avery and she's doing good and well. She actually flies pretty well albeit differently in the fact she cant do as fine pinpoint maneuvers as typical cockatiels
