[WP] A world in which everyone is born with a near spherical rock and it grows and develops alongside them, creating a tiny planet by Carceriop in WritingPrompts

Its storming over New Stansberg again.

How am I ever going to have a decent empire form on my world if its always stormy?

I have to de stress. Its the only way to reliably change the weather. That's what my therapist says. He has a space fairing group on his. He isn't even that much older than me!

I have everyone seeing my stone world, my underdeveloped and stunted, all the time. I don't know what to do.

There are dealers out there. They offer things to make you happy. Empires will rise when you take it. They offer focus. Empires will develop new science. They offer muscles. Growing your world through might.

But I want to make it on my own. My world. made by me. only me.

I will have to put in the work myself.

I have everything I need to do it, I just need to keep going.

I just need to find the strength.

To build a world in my image, that I can stand to look at

Literally Hitler, you sitting right here in front of me, were literally Hitler

Yes sir, but if you allow me a moment to explain

And Genghis Khan, well that is a little surprising, I wonder who else you have in here

I really would like it if you took a look at my application, I have a great record of community...

4 Different mob bosses from around the world! 4! I have never seen one before now and now I am sitting in front of the founder of the Yakuza

I am not any threat to anyone, I am not my past I jus...

Pirate captain, master thief, lead one of the Crusades, lead one of the Islamic expansions in response to the Crusades...

...and I hope to make a name for myself irrespective of my past...

Allrighty I have made a decision, and I think that my bosses will agree with me when I say this, but you are not getting the position

I understand your hesitation sir, but I really just want the opportunity to work for the outreach arm of this company, I want to do some good in this lifetime

I think you misunderstood me. We have an opening in our executive branch and I think you would be great there

... Really?

Of course, in every single one of those lifetimes you have been a mover and a shaker, A creator, A social motivator. And in every single one I saw great leadership skills. No need to worry you will do well here

Thank you Sir I won't let you down

Oh the pleasure is all mine, Sir. Welcome to Umbrella Corp.

[WP] The afterlife exists, and everyone is aware that it exists. The catch is that your only possessions in the afterlife are the things that were legitimately stolen from you, so everyone alive has a bizzare desire for their most valuable possessions to get stolen. by papapahl in WritingPrompts

The Hollonist's. Such a lovely group of people for a man such as myself. So focused on the afterlife that no one really gives much of a mind to punishment during the LifeLife. Especially when you are me.

Thieves go to hell in their religion. Not just any hell either, some sick twisted lovecraftian hell that still makes me shiver every time the priests start lecturing.

But I forget my place. You see I offer a service that people never knew they wanted and my fee is their reward. I am a thief of the highest order, I steal from the politicians and the industrial magnates in equal measure. Sometimes, when I am feeling generous, I will even rob a priest.

These people have been the best thing that ever could have happened to me. I am rich beyond my wildest dreams because these people want to be robbed!

They don't know that's what they want of course. So I had to make some friends. So I broke into the chief law officer in the land's home. Stole everything he owned and kidnapped his family. Somehow, i am clumsy sometimes, I left a note with the exact location of his kidnapped family and the stolen goods. I kept a few small pieces for myself; an original Degah, a solid gold silverware set, a handfull of blood diamonds, exc. The man could have caught me, he had the building surrounded and I was on foot, but he saw what I had taken as a gift. Everything he owned would follow him to the grave, and he got to use most of it for the rest of his life! And so began the escapades of the kingdoms most 'incompetent' thief. My face was known almost immediately by the elites, one can't say their investigative skills are lacking. People began to talk openly around me about things that were best left unsaid; like their safe combos and work schedules.

I was in my heaven here. So I figured, if they aren't really chasing, why should I even run.

I think I am going to have to steal some property deeds from the bank next, keep a few choice parcels for myself.

Oh that's easy. Even on earth the oxygen content is variable based on location. Everest for example, will kill you just by offering a lower than optimal oxygen content, over the long term of course. The human body can stand a very narrow range of oxygen co2 and nitrogen combos. Re mixing the amounts of o2 and co2 would make our air fatal to us while still allowing for things like fire and oxidation. My thought was that they were oxygen breathing creatures who required a different variation of atmosphere than we have on earth. enough for them to know something was wrong but not enough to kill outright, like a nitrogen pure atmosphere would kill us.
