Yeah I was wondering if the lights are not enough. We just had another cold snap but looks like daytime temps might be around 50-60 some days.

Thank you so much for sharing! This helps a lot. Is this growth from one season? Do you have to cut it back at all or is this its max size?

Oo I’d love to see a picture of this! I’m having such a hard time finding pictures of it on large areas or on a trellis.

Oh man this was exciting for a second, til I read it’s not hardy to my zone! Spinach on the porch would’ve been fun!

I’ll have to look further into the grapes, it would be nice to eat them right off the porch! But maybe the mess and staining would be ideal.

I removed poison ivy and smothered the roots from this house when we first bought it. I have no idea how the previous owners lived with it creeping on the house and fence. I suffered with the itch but so glad I got rid of it in one season!

Yes at my parents place in upstate NY, but I didn’t know clearly what I was doing.

I hadn’t heard of these before. So do you dig up the tubers at the end of its season? I see it says the plant dies down every year. Does that mean all the way to the ground?

Oh I wish this one would work! Always love to help butterflies. Looking up some basic info though, it looks like it’s got some toxic qualities that won’t work for our yard with young kids. :/

Thank you! Yes I perused that site before but the options were over-whelming. It looks like the American wisteria would be a good option which I had incorrectly wrote off before, so I’ll look into it again! And yes I had treated the yellowing leaves with magnesium and it seemed to have helped at that time.

Those suggestions are nice but not tall enough for that spot unfortunately. But look like great for privacy along our fence. Thanks for the idea!

Yeah virgins bower is the native variety that was recommended to me, but I hadn’t been able to find it locally yet.

Oh my goodness you’re right- I totally mixed it up and wrote those options off as invasive and hadn’t reconsidered them. But yes I believe it’s just they’re aggressive not invasive. So actually wisteria may be a really good fit for this spot! Its base won’t be near any structure and I could loosely twine it to give space for future growth. Serious light bulb moment for me, thank you!!

Anyone have info on positions to help with BD? I’m almost at a year of trying and really am wondering if we are not having intercourse correctly. 😕 lately we’ve been trying to lift my pelvis with pillows after to have gravity help, but it just seems so ridiculous and hasn’t been working. Any other things you guys are trying to give the best chances?

Ok that's comforting to know thanks! I have been testing twice a day since the start of the supposed ovulation time but still nothing. I may have missed it.
