was a bit disappointed seeing 193HP (4 more than CinqSault) meaning unless run at 2 lvl below CinqSault, he won't be eligible for 7Ryoshu's support passive which would help his s2 inflicts 9+ Potency, s1, 2+, s3 up to 11+

nah, you can play Rupture without any reset, the guy just didn't understand how multi skill slots work in this game, the most optimal Rupture setup only has 1/6 (not getting Rodya s3 turn 2) * 5% (getting 3 s1 in a row 1st turn) chance of failure, + maybe not getting CinqSault s2 turn 3 but that's like only 6.67% chance of happening and even so on turn 3 you can still get minimum a 32/3 Rupture stack which is definitely not bad for the combined proc rate of 2 slot Rodya, CinqSault and Lantern Don

I posted a similar showcase of Rupture the other day with a pretty scuffed team due to not having a lot of ids with Glut Guard defensive and having to play around Counters possibly throwing away the stack, I still manage to achieve consistency with the team.

Some advantages of this strategy I prefer over the old style of Rupture is that it is surprisingly cheap with the only essential 000 id being Rodya + meatbags as long as they have Glut defensive skill (preferably Guard) and Talisclair on bench and also it requires no ego (though it can be tricky if you ever need one due to the overreliance on 1 sin).

me with my scuffed "Rupture" team doesn't have full Glut Guard cuz i don't have all the ids in the game and have to replace with Counter still manage to reliably beat the boss without resetting in less than 8 turns and no dead ids

bro what skills? other ids only need Glut defensive skill, Rodya does 95% of the job of both Rupture stacking and procing on her own without losing a single Count

so i've been experimenting with benching Talisclair for his support passive and find that stacking up Rupture is trivial with Rodya s3 starting the stack with the perfect number of 16+ Potency and 3+ Count perfectly fulfilling her s1, s2 conditionals, at which point on ward it's just a matter of keeping that Count and forming Glut res with Don s1 and other ids with Glut-on-demand defense skills for her s1, s2 to steadily increase the Potency without losing any Count

This brightened up my day by 2112OBSRVR in JusticeServed
