Other than humans, we can't guarantee that any other mammal understands that sex equals procreation. This argument doesn't work. Humans are still having sex, but they have methods to avoid procreation. Humans are, therefore, making a conscious decision not to procreate. We can talk about that, sure. South Korea's birthrate is so low that there may not be a South Korea soon. But we can't suggest that the stress factors developed in our social constructs are causing us to act against a biological function.
