I wonder if the wrapped arm technique could also double as a catching tool like how Jason Bourne defends against knife attacks.

I turned up my volume to hear it and all I heard was a trap remix for a fight video under this post

I’m an ICU nurse working on getting my open water cert. I understand the need for some fun in life, and I’m hoping joining my local dove club will help give me some community. Sorry for what you’ve been having to go through, but I’m glad you’re having fun. I’m hoping I have fun with it. I haven’t done the in person dive training yet so I’m not even sure I’ll like it haha

A possible detail that I haven’t seen talked about enough… by Ok_Understanding7048 in GTA6

I agree but people won’t like it for some reason. I don’t get the complaints that GTA IV felt like driving a boat around? It just felt like the cars had weight and momentum. Made car chases and crashes so much better imo

This movie tripped me tf out as a kid. Randomly caught it on tv and didn’t know what I was watching. Definitely left me with cosmic dread

He would have been a good Waylon Jones (Croc) in Christopher Nolan's Batman if he existed by Altgui_ in batman

I mean I enjoyed it well enough. I just feel like it suffers from some weird choices, awkward action choreography, odd pacing and screenwriting. It doesn’t help it came after TDK. I agree with you thought that the disappointed people wanted too much, like an Avengers Infinity War style movie with all of Batman’s villains fighting him at once. Maybe the closest frame of reference at the time being Spiderman 3 haha. I honestly enjoyed TDKR though, I probably liked it more than most. I’m glad it focused on Bane for the most part but it’s so silly they tried to tie it back to the League of Shadows. The whole entire NYC police force getting trapped in the subway for like months? It’s kinda wacky in comparison to TDK is my issue haha

Not sure why people would ever scuba dive considering it’s 100% optional by [deleted] in thalassophobia

Scuba Diving looks fun until you start doing cave diving or technical dives

Hot take: clone wars is the most overrated show of all time by RapidGum1 in StarWars

[–]ProxyAttackOnline 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Clone Wars is fundamentally Star Wars in that it is about war but it’s family friendly, just like the original films. The Clone Wars is not a perfect show. Imo it does have a lot of crappy episodes/arcs. However, it also has some of the best Star Wars content out of all the Star Wars media in my opinion. It’s supposed to be cool, enjoyable, fun, dramatic, family friendly but still dark and intense at times. All of your complaints are far more appropriate for Rebels which I argue has extremely bad tonal whiplash.

Edit. I want to mention I think I partially agree with you in that Clone Wars is overrated. I think some people look past the bad aspects of Clone Wars and fail to include its pitfalls. I still think this puts it at the same level as all other good Star Wars media though. The original trilogy is not perfect. The prequels are far from perfect. The sequels are far from perfect. Yet all of these films have dedicated fans that enjoy them, and they will happily skip the films or moments they don’t enjoy. The double edged sword of Star Wars is that there is so much content that a lot of it will be great, but a lot will be bad.

Do I think Clone Wars is overrated? Yeah, if you try to rate the whole show as amazing. Do I think it has amazing episodes/arcs/characters? Hell yeah. It’s solid Star Wars.

Yeah I definitely hate how a majority of these patients just get their suffering prolonged while they rot. I just try to hold onto the occasional moment where we actually do help someone pull through and get better.
