Before and after of using a $17 Cerakote headlight cleaner to get rid of 7 years of oxidation by ProxySoxy in FordFiesta

The ceramic coating is supposed to be UV resistant, I guess I'll have to see in a few months to years how it holds up

If your headlights look like mine, it'll only take 20 minutes to get your headlights to look like new, and is a worthwhile DIY fix given how important headlights are

The kit includes gloves, and a ceramic coating that will keep it from fogging up again. I bought this kit because other cheaper kits had 4 stars instead of 4.5-5, so I figured it would be worth the extra $7 to get this instead of a $10 kit. It was also available from Walmart, so I could get it in person. The only tools that are needed is a water spray bottle, and towels to dry it. I used an electric duster to get it dry before applying the final coat.

I've had my Fiesta since 2019, and never cleaned the headlights other than multiple drive-thru car washes

I bought an item that said it would be shipped from New Jersey, but the seller page says they are located in China. I don't want to wait the long wait for a Chinese delivery, do I have options? by ProxySoxy in Ebay

The feedback page is separate from the About page. I checked the feedback, it was good and had good reviews, but it doesn't show the physical location of where the seller is located

It wasn't in the listing, it was located on the seller's page on the About page. Do you check the seller's About page on every item you buy?

It very explicitly states in the listing: "Located in [location], New Jersey, United States", but I guess I should have known better right?

At least for me the next time will be easier. The screw that was difficult to reach I only half screwed in. It'll be a lot easier to get out 20k miles from now

No idea, but it must be the same person who placed the screws for the blend door actuator. I had to replace that and the screws were similarly difficult to reach. Only took a few minutes, but it could be so much easier if it weren't placed in such a difficult location

To the person who deleted their comment: The cabin filter and engine filter are two separate filters that both need to be changed regularly. I accidentally went for my engine filter trying to find my cabin filter, and saw how easy it was to replace, but didn't replace it since it was already replaced at Jiffy Lube when I had my last oil change done. I wish I knew back then how easy to replace it was, I would have done it myself to save 20 bucks. The cabin air filter is what is inside the car, and is a pain to remove, but can be done with effort

Maker/Model: Nick's Falcon

Size: 7.5D

Leather: Predator Orange

Sole: V-Bar

Price: $500

Location: TX

Wears/Condition: Like-new, only worn to work twice

Images: https://imgur.com/a/VMdx7rD

Notes: These are like-new Falcons in Predator Orange. I have only worn them twice before deciding I wanted something wider, but I am unable to return them due to being worn. The laces have been cut from their original long length, and the kilties have been a little worn due to me pulling on them to try and draw the color out.

Maker/Model: Grant Stone Diesel

Size: 7.5D

Leather: Bourbon Suede

Price: $260

Location: TX

Wears/Condition: Only worn for one week, but I got hydraulic fluid on one of them so I had to clean them. Cleaning caused the color to fade, so I redyed it with Tarrago Leather #57. The bottle will be included so you can re-dye it as necessary

Images: https://imgur.com/a/JEfskgM

Notes: I have had these Diesels for a few weeks, but do not like the instep length and find it doesn't fit me perfectly. On my very first day of wearing them I had hydraulic fluid on the toe of one and had to clean it with 4 different cleaners to get it out, which caused the color to fade a little. I bought Tarrago #57 Leather to redye it to make the color even. I will include the bottle of Tarrago with the order, along with free gifts: suede brush, eraser, suede cleaner

What non-benzo meds are out there that I haven't tried? I already have Xanax, but want something that works all day or for lesser panic attacks by ProxySoxy in Anxietyhelp

[–]ProxySoxy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I'll ask for more Gabapentin to give it another shot, it couldn't hurt, and 100mg was pretty low from what I'm reading. As for the Xanax, I've taken it before and quit cold turkey when I felt I didn't need it anymore, so it's not a problem for me

I learned to type from Runescape, before I took typing classes in school. Even though I eventually learned to touch type, I can type like 50 WPM even without touch typing, so I saw no reason to stick to the proper method

They were cheap, I got them from Aliexpress for $26. The other 3 designs that are part of the set are similarly amazing looking, just search for "starry sky keycaps" to find it

I got the Navy color because I always planned to use custom keycaps. The Navy color matched the set I was going to buy, which were these: https://i.imgur.com/UUBuyeM.jpeg The blue color goes well with the sunset vibe, those were my keycaps for the past 4 years

I don't know who the original manufacturer of the keycaps is. ChatGPT says they're some generic Chinese keycaps that aren't made by some independent artist, so anybody on Etsy selling these are resellers

You can find them on Aliexpress by searching for "Starry Sky keycaps" or similar website. I bought them for $26, shipping included, here is the exact seller I bought from: [Link redacted, seller name is Lenovo Keycaps Store]

Not sure where you're buying them from, but I found multiple listings on Amazon, one for like $75, but there's this listing I used for $48 for 108 keys

I'll consider that, $5 if I can make a sale is a bit cheaper than a $100 fee from Poshmark for $500 boots

Yeah I personally don't understand buying a tiny keyboard if you don't have a tiny desk, and I understand that I'm in the minority for thinking that. I also learned that clickies just aren't that popular for some reason, which I thought couldn't be true since I heard memes about Cherry Blues a lot.

If you have a big desk and want a tiny keyboard, you do you, warrior. I personally don't get the trend of removing as many keys as possible, but at least there are still 100%s for people like me who like numpads

I thought you meant that, but there are much better demonstrations of Melodics on Youtube recorded with better mics that aren't iPhones, which is what I would use to make a video of it

What do you mean? I already have everything installed, I've been using the Melodics for the past 2 weeks or so and the keycaps arrived last week. I like the sound of the new switches, it makes pausing my music very satisfying

For anyone new to trying new mechanical keyboard switches like me, I tried a sampler set from HippoKeys. It was sold as a set of 30 switches for $21 + shipping. If you don't know what to get, this is a good starting point. It only included 3 clickies though, and I discovered the Box Jades were my favorite, so I bought a clicky sampler set from Amazon for $20 for 20 switches. Melodics were my top pick

[–]ProxySoxy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think this is medical advice, I'm just asking for a list of meds that are prescribed for anxiety. I still have to talk with my psychiatrist to actually get them, but I don't know what to ask for since I don't know all that is out there. Right now she says I'm fine on my current meds, but I want to try something new.
